Mee-Ngan first joined the Penzi Team during the early stages of the company's founding. Since then she's come a long way studying with the best in the field including celebrity wedding planners David Tutera. As a mom, innovator, educator and senior planner at Penzi, she's watched the company become a leading name in the world of wedding and event design and production. Her persistent desire to help Penzi remain an innovative event producer is evident in her passion, dedication and consistent training. It's been 7 years, and Mee-Ngan has become one of the leading members of the Penzi Team, lending her extensive knowledge of event production and design to the company and using her experience to mentor junior planners along the way.
Luis Ricardo Muñoz
His journey from his childhood home to the Penzi kitchen as head chef is a story about discovering one's passion. While studying Graphic Design and Architecture at the University of Leon he noticed how much he yearned for a more satisfying career. He eventually moved on, and found himself studying gastronomy, and it was there that he finally found his calling. Since Penzi's beginning he's been a part of the culinary experience. After 7 years he's gone from working as second chef to taking full reins of the kitchen, creating dishes that showcase the uniqueness of each event for the people who are there to celebrate it.
These days Luis finds it impossible not to look forward to the surprise of each day in the kitchen and lives to create food that makes each wedding in San Miguel de Allende special and distinct.
Michel studied management as well as tourism development, and is dedicated to creating a relaxing experience for each couple throughout the process of planning and organizing each wedding. For Michel, the powerful sight of the couple and their guests making lifelong memories is the most exciting and gratifying part of her job. But what she enjoys the most throughout the process is the teamwork put in to solving unexpected situations as well as getting to know a variety of tastes and cultures.
José María Fuentes
Jose Maria studied hotel Management in Les Roches in Spain, he is a people’s person, and he loves communication, Jose brings to Penzi the experience of service and attention to the client.
Adriana studied Tourism in San Miguel de Allende, she loves language and she studied English in The Alamo College in San Antonio Texas, soon after her return she enters the Penzi team. Adriana is professional and dedicated, she loves service and attention to details Adriana likes to create new experiences and emotions to the couples, loves her job and is passionated about transforming ideas into unforgettable memories.
Anguie is Guadalupe’s personal assistant, her dedication is incredible, she notes everything that the couple wants for her wedding and makes sure the director gets all her support.
Originally from Queretaro, Jaqueline was drawn to the magic San Miguel de Allende seems to emanate. She studied Tourism but her true passion is the couples she works with and being a part of the big day by helping them complete their dream wedding. For Jaqueline, the ability to provide her service is a great privilege and joy.
She is from San Miguel de Allende. She studied Tourism Administration in Guanajuato city. Along her professional career she has worked in customer service with high quality standards, however being part of the Penzi team has been one of the most challenging. Meeting the couples, their expectations and being able to make their dreams come true is the most exciting part. Katia studied Human Resources and continues to study linguistics in her hometown San Miguel de Allende. Katia is constantly captivated by the beauty of San Miguel as well as the colonial vibes, the wonderful weather and the cultural diversity. Thus, Penzi and San Miguel are the perfect combination for Katia. “I am in love with the work we do because we strive to make every love story a dream come true.”
Originally from San Miguel de Allende, Lucia studied Business Administration and is a proud member of the Penzi family. Lucy values learning and growing through new experiences. “At the end of the day, the most gratifying part of my job is watching the couple in their special moment surrounded by family and friends celebrating an unforgettable moment in their lives, even more so after the hard work put into the process of planning and producing. Everything from beginning to end makes it all worth it.”
Maria de los Ángeles Rodriguez
Currently she is studying the degree in Management and Tourism Development at UTSMA college. Her main desire was to be part of PENZI team and now it has come true thanks to her perseverance and dedication. Her passion is to offer a high quality service and she wants to be part of special moments that each wedding involves. "Blessed is the one that works in what he loves because he will always do his work with excellence" Angeles believes that it is important to know the needs and requests of her clients so that important day can last at every moment in their lives.
Mariana studied tourism in the Universidad Tecnológica de San Miguel de Allende, she always dreamed of being part of the Penzi team, she started doing her practices with Penzi and now is a junior planner. “ To see the couple smiling with happiness “ makes her realize that Penzi made their dreams come true "this is my reward" says Mariana with a smile. Mariana likes to work as a team and is part of a very close family.
Paulina´s passion is service and the ability to give clients the attention they deserve as soon as possible. Every couple is special and her priority is for each client to feel unique providing them the attention and quality they deserve. “I feel satisfaction when I see months of hard work and planning reflect in the vibrant joy of the each client.”
Kirsten West, The Culinary Explorer, is an international chef and cooking instructor. Her more than 25 years of studying the Mexican cuisine included traveling to the different regions of the country. Her teachers were many wonderful Mexican home and professional cooks, as well as authorities of the cuisines such as Diana Kennedy and Rick Bayless, with whom she collaborated for 8 years.
Her fascination with the culture of Mexico started at age 12 in history class, taught in her native Germany. On her first visit to Mexico, with the intention to explore the archeological ruins, she unexpectedly fell in love with Mexican food. The rich offerings at the markets she visited surpassed anything she had ever seen. With the realization that this most fascinating cuisine in the world had influenced the cuisines of Europe and Asia in a profound way, it became the passion and fascination of her food studies. It will never cease to amaze and surprise her.
