A romantic colonial destination wedding celebrated in Mexico’s 2nd best city to visit (according to Condé Nast Traveller), San Miguel de Allende is the perfect inspiration for nuptial magic. The lovers started their wedding weekend with a colourful rehearsal dinner with outstanding mexican cuisine and included mexican motifs and family traditions such as decorations with the mother of the groom’s ribbons collection, an altar for the dead, a Callejonada – which is a walk through the historic streets of San Miguel de Allende with a Mariachi band.

Colombian and Mexican-inspired wedding, Mexico

They meet in Colombia during a wedding in March, Armando was doing a Masters in Boston and he was invited to come to Colombia by the bride´s cousin. It was love at first sight. They met again in Mexico in November and they tried to spend every moment together. Even though their relationship was long-distance, they tried to see each other every month.
