A Vibrant, Modern Wedding at Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

magazine-156

For their spring wedding, Fernanda Abis and Samuel Prince planned a bright, festive affair with a laid-back vibe. The pair headed to Fernanda’s hometown of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico for the celebration, a vibrant city with a thriving art scene and baroque Spanish architecture.

The day started with a traditional Catholic ceremony at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The ornate architecture provided a dramatic backdrop for the affair, with arrangements of lush white florals in varying sizes, which the couple used to line the aisle and decorate the altar, adding an air of romance and elegance. The couple put a personal twist on the proceedings through music, choosing the song “Through the Eyes of Love” from the film Ice Castles for processional and “All You Need Is Love” by the Beatles for the recessional.
